A RESOLUTION TRANSFERRING/APPROPRIATING AN APPROPRIATION OUT AND FROM A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT AND CREDITING SAME TO A DESIGNATED FUND ACCOUNT TO THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION
FOR THE RENTAL OF A PORTABLE BATHROOM FOR HŌNAUNAU BOAT RAMP.
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation-maintains Hōnaunau Boat Ramp located at Hōnaunau Bay in South Kona; and
WHEREAS, Hōnaunau Boat Ramp and its surrounding area is utilized by residents and visitors to participate in variety of activities such as swimming, fishing, and snorkeling; however
it lacks bathroom facilities; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation is requesting funds for the rental of a portable bathroom, which will be placed in the public access area; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I that Contingency Relief funds from Council District 6 will be appropriated to the Department of Parks and Recreation for the rental
of portable bathroom for Hōnaunau Boat Ramp.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the County of Hawai‘i hereby transfers/appropriates the following amount as set forth below:
