Relating to dangerous dogs: I support this bill to make owners of dangerous dogs accountable and to make the
penalties stronger. I have been bitten twice by dogs while walking in my own neighborhood. One time was a dog off
leash and another by a vicious dog that broke off leash while being walked by a child who could not control it. I have
a dog of my own and I like dogs, but my dog is under my control at all times.
Victims of dog attacks should not have to hire a lawyer to go after people with dangerous dogs.
Preventing dog attacks should be made a priority. I
People who have dangerous dogs should be required to spay/neuter those dogs.
The owners of dangerous dogs who have injured or killed livestock or peoples'pets should have to pay restitution for I
vet bills or replacement cost of the animal killed.
