Corresponding Secretaty My name is Lehua Kaulukukui and I am testifying on behalf of both my Halau
Stella Tavares Unuehu and our ' ohana Foundation, the Kuamo` o Foundation. The lineage of
Treasurer our halau stems from the hula traditions of Unukupukupu, under the direction of
Directors Kumu Hula Taupouri Tangaro, and Halau O Kekuhi,under the direction of
Pualani Kanaka` ole Kanahele, Nalani Kanaka` ole, and Huihui Kanahele
Erin Henderson Lacerdo Mossman whose Founder was Aunty Edith Kanaka` ole.Within out ' ohana
James K.Kaulukukui,Jr. Foundation,we have many past and present hula practitioners and more to come
Michelle Keliipio-Lee among the future generations
Stephanie McV]tty For the current and future generations,we acknowledge that the integrity and
stewardship of hula must be protected from further commercialism, exploitation,
Advisors (Ktipunq) and mis-representation.
