These appropriations reflect funding allocations received from the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations for the Program Year(PY) 2021. No County General Funds are involved. The bill sets up the proper accounts to receive and expend the WIOA funds. The Department of Research and Development indicates that the funds will be utilized for rapid response and layoff aversion activities in Hawaii County.
