OFFICETHE F THE MAYORT INTO AN AGREEMENT
WITH THE UNIVERSITYF HAWAPI
WHEREAS, Resolution 168-21, adopted on July 21, 2021, in accordance
with section 46-7, Hawaii Revised Statutes, authorized the Mayor to execute, on
behalf of the County, an agreement and related documents with the University of
Hawaii to fund the "Kuleana Health" project; and
WHEREAS, the recitals to Resolution 168-21 made reference to provide up
to $100,000 to the University of Hawaii; and
WHEREAS, the actual funding amount is up to $200,000; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Research and Development requests that
all references in Resolution 168-21 to indicate the funding amount "up to
$100,000" be amended to funding "up to $200,000"; now, therefore
BE IT RESOLVED that Resolution 168-21 be, and hereby is, amended to
reflect all references of$100,000 to be identified instead as $200,000.
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk of the County of Hawaii
shall transmit copies of this resolution to the Office of the Mayor, the Department
of Research and Development and the Department of Finance.
