i <br /> ovN��e®c H,y, <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAVI +e° o f <br /> STATE OF HAWAI'l <br /> 'fTg GF•NI� <br /> RESOLUTION . 390 22 <br /> RESOLUTION1 1 FUNDS <br /> LATER FISCAL YEAR OR FISCAL YEAR <br /> FOR MULTI-YEAR EMPLOYMENT CONTRACTS FOR THE POLICE <br /> DEPARTMENT <br /> WHEREAS, Section 10-11 of the County Charter requires that any contract, <br /> lease or other obligation requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a <br /> later fiscal year or of more than one fiscal year be approved by resolution; and <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii wishes to enter into multi-year <br /> employment contracts to implement the Animal Control Program; and <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Hawaii wishes to enter into multi-year <br /> employment contracts, for the following positions: Animal Control Director, Shelter <br /> Manager, Lead Animal Control Officer, Animal Control Officer, Animal Control <br /> Officer Trainee, Lead Kennel Technician, and Kennel Technician; and <br /> WHEREAS, these employment contracts will not exceed an end date of June <br /> 30, 2024; now therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII: <br /> 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into multi-year <br /> employment contracts as indicated above, for the Police <br /> Department. <br />
