i <br /> I <br /> I <br /> i <br /> I <br /> V••r n �,{Iill�°,• <br /> :+PO pro•••*`� <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAPI <br /> i <br /> ,TE•OF•µl,•f, <br /> RESOLUTION <br /> A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A <br /> NATION OF AN APOLLO SPINNER TO THE COUNTY OF <br /> HAWAII DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION. <br /> i <br /> WHEREAS,the Friends of Pu`u Nui Park is donating an Apollo Spinner to the <br /> County of Hawaii Department of Parks and Recreation; and j <br /> i <br /> WHEREAS,this piece of playground equipment, valued at approximately $22,000, <br /> will be installed at the Waikoloa Community Park; and <br /> WHEREAS, Article XHI, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter,provides that the <br /> council, on behalf of the county, may accept gifts of donations of money, securities, or other <br /> personal property or of real estate or any interest in real estate; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation recommends the acceptance of this <br /> donation; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII, in <br /> accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, the County of <br /> Hawaii, accepts this donation. <br />
