In the conversations I have had with landowners and local business they are seeing increases up to and above 100%in their assessments. I understand the need for increased revenue with the many challenges the County is facing, however, this unprecedented jump will be on the back of local businesses. As we come out of the recent COVID crises we are facing large price increases in the cost of doing business including but not limited to: healthcare, employment, food, oil and materials. Please consider creating a cap for all property types, similar to the 3%cap that is placed on the homeowner's class valuations. This provides not only the community the ability to anticipate costs but also allows the County the ability to better anticipate revenue. Mahalo, Garth Yamanaka Comm No< Ref. To: Ref. Doe APR 1 2 2022
