On-street racin was a ma or roblem for one of our Dan Kama g J p Janet Lang Neighborhood Watches in Kapoho. Once the Dept. of Pazks & Recreation Antonio Lonis Jr. promoted off-street racing alternatives, this problem has ceased. Don Nitsche A survey ofNeighborhood Watches islandwide named speeding as the No. 1 ADV[soR concern of community members. Off-street racing altematives provide safe Mitchell Roth activities. The Hawaii County Council support for this resolution will be much appreciated. Sincerely, n Gordon Nash, President Big Island CCFNS c: Julie Tulang, Director, Dept. of Parks & Recreation Comm.
