REQUEST FOR EXECUTIVE SESSION

Dear Chairwoman David and Hawaii County Council Members:
Pursuant to Haw. Rev. Stat. § 92-5(a)(4), we request attorney-client
confidential discussion, in executive session, to consult with the County Council on
questions and issues pertaining to its powers, duties, privileges, immunities, and
liabilities regarding the above-referenced matter, including a discussion regarding a
litigation Matthew Menzer and Jacob Lowenthal filed on behalf of their clients, The
Estate of Jessie Lee Stacy ("Estate"), Sharian Stacy individually and as
representative of the Estate, and A.S., a minor.
We ask that this case be placed on the Council's May 18, 2022, agenda. If
granted, I will appear before the Council in person in Hilo Council Chambers.
