Aloha:
My name is Charles Young and I am writing in support of bills 153 and 152.The need for more affordable housing in Hawaii
County is quickly becoming more drastic.The Hawaii County Administration has identified that affordable housing is lagging
both in the number of units available and the disparity between average income and housing market values. I believe that the
current Administration is not devoting sufficient funding to address this and only exacerbates the disparities by pursuing
housing demands for off shore investors though its`zoning and permitting processes.
