Aloha Council -
I have been a Mortgage Professional for 2 Decades, and have never see the housing crises and
unaffordablllty issue that we're currently facing here in Hawaii.
Research reflects that we are already the second highest state for property tax in the country, per
individual income ("Tax Burden").
The proposed tax increase will potentially cause irreparable harm to those already hugely
challenged to acquiring homeownership, here in Hawai'I - many of which are from multi-
generational Hawai'ian families.
Please help nurture housing affordability for our kama'aina by supporting and passing Bill 156, to
Minimize Real Property Tax Increases.
