Your Committee on Finance,to which was referred Bill No. 164, reports as follows:
Bill No. 164,transmitted by Finance Director Deanna S. Sako via Communication No. 756 dated
April 14, 2022, amends Ordinance No. 21-38, as amended,the Operating Budget for the County of
Hawaii for fiscal year ending June 30, 2022.
This bill increases revenues in the Federal Grants—Mainstream Voucher Administration account
($30,000); and appropriates the same to the Office of Housing Other Current Expenses account,
bringing the total appropriation to $81,679. Funds would be used for administrative costs to operate
the housing voucher program.
There was no discussion on the measure.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 164, and
recommends its passage on first reading.
