I <br /> i <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAPI `' '° STATE OF HAWAPI <br /> mH <br /> 7Tp�.F.N�a1 <br /> RESOLUTIONNO. 422 22 <br /> RESOLUTION T IING THE OFFICE OF THE MAYOR TO ENTER <br /> INTO MULTI-YEAR AGREEMENT WITH THE OFFICE OF THE <br /> AUDITOR, STATEVI <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Finance wishes to enter into a multi-year <br /> agreement for three (3) years with the Office of the Auditor, State of Hawaii; and <br /> WHEREAS, the agreement will allow the County to request that the Office of the <br /> Auditor, State of Hawaii, to provide assistance to conduct an audit of the schedule of <br /> employer allocations of the Employees' Retirement System of the State of Hawaii <br /> (ERS) in order to meet the reporting requirements under Governmental Accounting <br /> Standards board (GASB) Statement No. 68; and <br /> WHEREAS, Section 10-11 of the County Charter requires that any contract, lease <br /> or other obligation requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a later fiscal <br /> year or of more than one fiscal year be approved by resolution; and <br /> WHEREAS, Hawaii Revised Statutes, Section 46-7, requires that County <br /> departments obtain the consent of the council to enter into agreements with the federal <br /> or state governments respecting action to be taken pursuant to any of the powers <br /> granted by law to furnish, expend, and receive any funds or other assistance in <br /> connection with projects being or to be undertaken pursuant to those powers; now, <br /> therefore, <br />
