SUBJECT: Presentation of the June 2022 Hdweo Award to HFD Recipient Thomas Clark
on June 14, 2022—Parks and Recreation & Public Safety Committee
We are requesting approximately 20 minutes for presentation of the June 2022 Hdweo Award to
Hawaii Fire Department recipient, Thomas Clark—EMS Warehouse Clerk.
We request that this presentation take place on the Parks and Recreation and Public Safety
Committee on June 14, 2022, and that this committee be scheduled at 4:40 a.m. to better
accommodate the department's schedule.
The Hdweo Award Program recognizes employees of our Fire and Police `ohana that perform
their duties "above and beyond the call". "Hdweo"means to glow or to be radiant, and it is right
and just to recognize department employees who serve as shining examples of Hawaii County's
finest public servants.
