RESOLUTION NO.
RESOLUTION CREATING ONE (1) NEW CLERK III POSITION FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT
WHEREAS, the Police Department is in need of a Clerk III position to assist with the day-to-day operations in their Traffic Services Section; and
WHEREAS, this position is necessary to develop and maintain the section’s various programs; and
WHEREAS, the position indicated above is one (1) Clerk III, SR-10; and
WHEREAS, Article V, Section 5-1.3(c) of the Hawai‘i County Charter states that the Mayor has the power to “Create positions...for which appropriations have been made by the council...”;
now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I that one (1) Clerk III, SR-10, position be created in the Police Department.
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution be transmitted to the Office of the Mayor and the Departments of Finance, Police Department and Human Resources.
