Our services are essential in both maintaining the supply chain for the Big Island community and
providing employment with livable wages to so many in what is already a State with a high cost of living.
We have grown and continue to grow our staff on both the West& East sides of the Island and employ
approximately 12Oemployees.
In addition to the increases to our Operations as a result of the rising fuel costs, many employees are
faced with long commutes, no reasonable accommodations for public transportations or alternatives.
The high cost of fuel is increasing at a pace that cannot be matched with wage increases.
We support a decrease in the Hawaii County fuel tax. includes are signatures or current employees who
face personal challenges due to the rising cost in fuel and would like to see a decrease approved.
