Subject: Resolution 363- 22
Aloha, my name is Lee McIntosh. I live in Kau, which means Resolution 363-22 would greatly benefit individuals such as myself that
have to travel far to reach Hilo or Kona for errands or appointments. I encourage the council to pass this resolution.The county is
obviously charging too much gas tax if there is an excess of$20,000,000.The council should lower the tax to an amount that it can
conservatively spend in a budgeted year. It is unjust to charge a tax for a specific cause,to then only turn around and use that money
for something else. Resolution 363-22 will greatly benefit the Big Island. Mahalo for the opportunity to share my testimony.
