Aloha County Council Members,
I am writing this testimony in strong support of Bills 152 and 153. We are in need of more affordable housing options
across our island. Together,these bills will ensure long lasting andresponsible use of our tax payer dollars for
affordable housing development. Bill 153 is especially necessary and appreciated as it commits the
County to affordable housing efforts for the long term. As a community, we cannot afford to have these funds pulled
by a simple majority of future County Councils. Please pass these bills together and grant us the opportunity to vote
on long term affordable housing funding in the coming election. Mahalo nui for your support of these measures.
