Subject: Testimony for real property tax rates proposal
The homeowner classification is the second lowest rate reduction proposal. I believe if rate reductions are implemented that the
homeowner is deserving of a better rate reduction than currently proposed. How did the proposed reductions come about? Who
decided,for example,that hotels should be given a larger reduction than those of us that live here full time in our own home? Why
are apartments given such a large break? I believe homeowners are deserving of a larger reduction if rates indeed are decreased.
