Subject: Save the coral reefs
To whom it may concern,
This is a easy switch for people to use reef safe SPF. More and more companies are offering it as an option for
purchase.
No one wants to swim in a both artificial and natural fragrance and greasy waters from peoples SPF.
Please protect the Coral Reef.
Healthy coral reefs protect our island's coastal infrastructure,beaches,and community.The chemical
compounds contained in non-mineral sunscreen inhibit coral growth and degrade the integrity of our reefs.
This ordinance aims to preserve the health,safety, and welfare of humans and the environment by allowing
only mineral sunscreens to be provided, sold, offered for sale, or distributed in the County.
I submit my testimony in strong support of Bill 167.
