Aloha,
Chair Rebecca Villegas, Co-Chair Heather Kimball, and members of the Committee on Climate Resilience & Natural
Management.
The chemical compounds contained in non-mineral sunscreen inhibit coral growth and degrade the integrity of our reefs. Healthy
coral reefs protect our coast, beaches, and community. Allowing only mineral sunscreens to be provided, sold, offered for sale,
or distributed in the County will help protect our reefs and marine life they support.
I submit my testimony in strong support of Bill 167. o t-73
