Aloha mai kakou,
My name is Melewai Ha`i-Kelly. I am from my beloved homeland, Kailua-Kona, Hawai`i. I am a proud student
attending the seventh grade at Ke Kula '0 'Ehunuikaimalino. In Science class we learned the importance of
appreciating our land and the species living in the environment by taking care of them allowing them to thrive and
succeed. I heard that Bill 167 is being discussed by the County, and I am writing to you today to ask for your help and
support for this bill. This bill is very important to me because it is banning sunscreen that is threatening our coral and
sea life in general. Ke 'olu'olu I need your kokua to help our ocean life and native species thrive. Mahalo!
