Aloha Council Members,
This testimony is in strong support of Bill 167 which seeks to ban non-mineral sunscreen.The toxic compounds found in non-mineral
sunscreen have long term and detrimental effects to the natural habitat of many ocean species to include our coral reefs.Our coral
reefs house and feed many species of wildlife that feed us at inhabitants of Hawaii.
There really isn't a reason why this bill should not be passed. Please do what's right for the ocean, us and humans and most of all,
our keiki.
