The environment and the safety of others are important, but if members of the community are using non-mineral sunscreen - it'll only hurt the reefs of the island because of the harmful chemicals that are contained in the sunscreen. If non- mineral sunscreens are going to continue to be sold by stores, the community will be harmed by the ingredients of the sunscreen. To reduce the usage of non-reef-safe sunscreen, it'd be best to only allow mineral sunscreen to be provided, sold, offered for sale, or to be distributed in the County. I submit my testimony in strong support of Bill 167. cp -s- c c Mahalo nui loa, --` 'M r- Lili'u Kaahumanu > " 7th-Grade Student ;, Kihei Charter School v Maui, Hawai`i Comm.
