aloha mai kakou
my name is nainoa kahele and i am from miloli`i and i go back and fort from kona to miloli`i and i am a 7 grade
student and ehunuikaimalino in science class we learned about sea life and the coral and i heard that bill 167 is being
discussed by the county and i am writing to ask for you kokua of this bill the reason this bill is so important to me is
because i would wanna save our land and our fish so we can eat
Healthy coral reefs help to protect our island community. The chemicals in non-mineral sunscreen inhibit coral growth
and degrade the integrity of our reefs. This bill aims to preserve the health, safety, and welfare of humans and the
environment by allowing only mineral sunscreens to be provided, sold, offered for sale, or distributed in the County.
I submit my testimony in strong support of Bill 167.
