Subject: Strong Support for Bill 167
Aloha Chair and our County Council Members,
Mahalo for this opportunity. I am in strong support to pass Bill 167.
All scientific evidence shows not all sunscreens impacts our bodies and our coral in a positive way. Passing this Bill
167 we can begin to shift our coral reef towards supporting revitalization even with many bodies in our beaches and
bays. It would give an opportunity to better co-exist with nature, supporting the over capacity challenges our bays
face here in Hawai'i today.
I hope all of you feel the same way or that the majority votes towards utilizing you position to bring such positive
impacts for our ohana that honors the multiple truth in its word by looking after'aina as part of our ohana and
kuleana.
