Aloha representatives of our county,
Healthy coral reefs protect Hawailli's coastal Infrastructure, beaches, and community. The chemlicall
compounds contained in non-mlineral sunscreen hihIbiit corall growth and degrade the integrity of
our reefs. This ordinance aims to preserve the health, safety, and welfare of humans and the environment
by allowing only mineral sunscreens to be provided, sold, offered for sale, or distributed in the County.
I submit my testimony in strong support of Bill 167.
