Habitat for Humanity, Hawaii Island builds modest, affordable houses for its partner families on the Big Island. We
are all too aware of the severe lack of such housing in Hawaii, and are committed to being part of the solution to this
challenge.
Although funding is but one of the factors in this challenge, it is a huge one. Accordingly, I strongly urge you to pass
Bill 160, and to continue to explore ways to increase the availability of affordable housing on our beautiful Island
home!
