Subject: In support of reef safe sunscreen laws
Aloha Council,
As a new resident of Hawai'i county and longtime visitor and appreciator of Hawai'i's marine ecosystems, I support
legislative efforts to ban the sale and use of non-mineral sunscreen and thereby require only actually reef-safe
sunscreen. I support visitors to learn about responsible sun protection whenever I can(politely) but there is so much
confusion about which sunscreen brands are actually safe or not.
Please take further action to protect our reefs, your constituents are with you!
