Aloha,
Been here a short while .I volunteer at Kauhalu Bay as a Reef Tech once to twice a week and have learned a lot
about people. Observing them, listening and sharing information.
For the most part 98%of the visitors and locals respect what we are doing , surprised we don't already have this law ,
confused about what product to buy . Other 2 percent have never seen an ocean or don't speak English.
At first I was skeptical but 9 months later, , I too have been ichanged by being more understanding of folks
backgrounds and experiences and understanding the Hawaian Culture from old timers or young folks which is what is
really so special here . The youth and young adults get that any Petroleum products are bad for reefs around the
world it ..bad for the earth too.. Marine life cells is not made like our cells.They have no voice ..no choice.
Everybody is proud of we are doing this. I have traveled and short lived in many islands communities and see no fight
about this subject . We are the protectors of the sea life and all living things.
It's crazy crowded done there sometimes but knowing I made a some impact on people and see how excited they are
about healthy the Corolla and reefs look,thanking us w donations and mahalos .
Pls pass this bill for all the Kiki's and the for the.future of our great natural resources we were blessed with .
Also people will buy what is front on them . So no sales will go down .Just a better product that will get respect:
