Aloha,
I am writing in support of Bill 167 to ban the sale of nonmineral sunscreen on our island, I believe this bill is way
overdue. I work in the industry and it is hard for visitors to understand why they can buy sunscreen in Hawaii that
says, "reef-friendly" and it isn't.
I am in support of doing what we can as humans to support the ocean ecosystem and we need to start NOW! This is a
minor change that will make a large impact.
