Subject: SUPPORTING BILL 167
Mineral sunscreen is the ONLY safe option for Hawai'i's reefs, and I believe that if non-mineral sunscreen continues
to be sold in Hawai'i, it will ONLY continue to destroy the beautiful natural environment of Hawai'i that we should all
be endeavoring to preserve for it's incredible beauty and ecoological importance. I am submitting this email in favor
of Bill 167, to prohibit the distribution of non-mineral sunscreen on Hawai'i island. I do not think chemical sunscreens
are safe or healthy for the coral,the science shows it is bad for the coral and the animals, and we should be doing
everything we can to preserve this beautiful natural environment.
