EDITION, AS AMENDED), BY ADDING A NEW ARTICLE RELATING TO PROHIBITION OF NON-
MINERAL SUNSCREEN
Aloha council members,
I am in strong support of this overdue legislation to protect our reefs. Where there are simple, safe solutions to
changing products that destroy ecosystems, like changing the sunscreens we use and allow by law, we have to take
the higher road.
I ask that you lead the way in insuring that this unnecessary damage stops immediately and that safer alternatives are
used.
