Subject: Resolution 441
Aloha County Council Members,
This testimony is in support of Resolution 441.
As a resident of this island, I feel first hand the effects of property tax increases and the high cost of living that has
been evident over the last few years. I would think most of you do too. In order to support us-the people who live
here, are from here, and contribute to the Hawaii island community, I ask that you support Resolution 441 which
seeks to help small local businesses, and those people who live in their homes as a primary residence. And most
especially those who rent to tenants at an affordable rate.
Solving the housing crisis is no easy task and is daunting in many ways but it starts right here, with you doing what's
best for our local people and NOT what benefits only outside of Hawaii interest(resorts, golf courses, etc.) Please do
what's right here. And if you do not support this resolution I would appreciate an explanation why. My email
