I am a local resident from Keauhou and cannot urge you enough to please disallow the sale of non-mineral
sunscreens at all retail outlets on the island. Our kuleana is to protect our fragile coral and marine ecosystems
and there can be no doubt as to the destructive short and long term effects of non-reef safe sunscreen on these
systems.
