Subject: Protect our Coral Reefs
Aloha,
As a former home and landowner on the Big Island at the Wai O'Pae Tide pools and now a frequent visitor to Kailua-Kona,we care
about the coral reefs. (Our daughter's family resides,works,goes to school there.)We miss our home that was taken by the Lava
events of 2018.
God gave us the responsibility to care for His creation.Sometimes we don't realize what impact a little thing like sunscreen has on
decimating our beautiful resources.There are several reasons to pass Bill 167 regarding the sale of safe sunscreens:
1. Protect our Earth and do no harm
2. If the reefs are destroyed,there will be fewer tourists to visit for the beauty of the underwater.
3.The reefs protect our fish,which provide food and sustenance for our Hawaiian families.
4.All of the above protect our economy.
