Subject: Testimony of SUPPORT for Bill 167
Aloha County Council Members,
Since I believe at this point every possible reason why, we as a county should enact Bill 167 has been made,I would like to
add my support for passing this bill.
We have all seen the destruction that overuse has caused on our coral reefs, beaches, land from makai to mauka. And
we've all seen with our own eyes how quickly many places healed while tourism was shut down. May we all walk away
from this trying time understanding our impact, and with a renewed hope that we can make changes for the better.
My hope is to see that this bill passes expeditiously, as there is no time left to be wasted, in making bold decisions that
protect our island from farther degradation. This is one step in the right direction.
