Dear Councilmembers,
I sincerely hope you will reconsider passing bill 167 to protect our precious reefs and marine life. It's a small step we
can take to help our endangered marine flora and fauna, which are already under dire stress from global warming and
bleaching events. Most visitors I've spoken with about inappropriate sunscreens were appalled to find out they were
contributing to this issue, they, too, would like to better understand what sunscreens they can use to protect
themselves and the ocean. Bili 167 would give us a big leg up in this cause.
