Aloha Council Chair David and Council Members:
It is my pleasure to nominate Joyce M. Unoki of District 2 to the Pension Board.
Ms. Unoki has been a resident of Hawaii for 62 years. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in
Social Science and retired from the County of Hawaii after 30 years of service. We would be
honored to have Ms. Unoki serve on this board and assist in making important decisions for the
police officers, firefighters, and band members involved, in a fair and responsible manner.
If confirmed, Ms. Unoki will serve a term ending December 31, 2026.
