The State of Hawaii Department of the Attorney General is providing $93,371 to the
Office of the Prosecuting Attorney for their Victim-Witness Assistance Program.

Enclosed is a resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the State
of Hawaii Department of the Attorney General for these funds. Also enclosed is a bill
for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating this $93,371 to the
Office of the Prosecuting Attorney's "Aid To Victims" account.

We were recently informed that the.State of Hawaii Department of the Attorney General-has'aliocatedl
$93,371.00 in State General Funds to the Victim/ fitness Program in Hawaii County f6r•FY23 via a
government to government contract.
