Your Committee on Finance,to which was referred Bill No. 189, reports as follows:
Bill No. 189 transmitted by Finance Director Deanna S. Sako via Communication No. 870 dated
June 30, 2022, amends Ordinance No. 22-63, as amended,the Operating Budget for the County of
Hawai`i for the Fiscal Year ending June 30, 2023.
This bill increases revenues in the Elderly Activities Division Miscellaneous Contributions account
($20,000); and appropriates the same to the Elderly Activities Division Special Program
Miscellaneous Contribution account,bringing the total appropriation to $25,000, due to an
anticipated increase in donations.
There was no discussion on the measure.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 189, and
recommends its passage on first reading.
