CALL TO The regular meeting of the Committee on Parks and Recreation and Public
ORDER: Safety was called to order at 1:02 p.m., in the Council Chambers, Hilo, by

Ms. Lee Loy moved to recommend confirmation of the
nomination of Ms. Jennifer Wilkinson to the Liquor
Commission. Seconded by Ms. Kierkiewicz and carried
by the following voice vote:
Ayes: Committee Members Kaneali`i-Kleinfelder,
Kierkiewicz, Kimball, Lee Loy, and
Chair Inaba — 5.
Noes: None.
Absent: Committee Members Chung, David,
Richards, and Villegas — 4.
Excused: None.
Executive Assistant to the Mayor Pomaika`i Bartolome came forward and
provided a brief narrative of the nominee's background and experience.
Committee Members spoke in favor of the appointment.
There being no further business, at 1:07 p.m., Ms. Lee Loy moved to adjourn
the meeting. Seconded by Ms. Kimball and carried by the following voice vote:
Ayes: Committee Members Kaneali`i-Kleinfelder,
Kierkiewicz, Kimball, Lee Loy, and
Chair Inaba — 5.
Noes: None.
Absent: Committee Members Chung, David,
