Your Committee on Finance,to which was referred Bill No. 192, reports as follows:
Bill No. 192,transmitted by Finance Director Deanna S. Sako via Communication No. 889, dated
July 15, 2022, amends Ordinance No. 22-63, as amended,the Operating Budget for the County of
Hawai`i for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2023.
This bill appropriates revenues in the State Grants—Career Criminal Program account($324,512); and
appropriates the same to the Career Criminal Prosecution Program account. Funds would be used by the
Office of the Prosecuting Attorney for the Career Criminal Prosecution Program.
There was no discussion on the measure.
Your Committee on Finance is in accord with the purpose and intent of Bill No. 192, and recommends
its passage on first reading.
