Aloha- by their sheer numbers, vacation rentals and bed and breakfast establishments should be required to provide at
least one slow trickle charging station for a fee if requested.
I run a bed and breakfast and my guests that arrive in an electric car appreciate the convenience of being able to
charge their car for$16/day at their place of accommodation which reflects my maximum cost and the same
approximate cost if the guest used a charging station downtown but had to wait 3 hours. It's doable.

Thank you to Heather Kimball for introducing this bill. Ever-increasing extreme weather events, like the fire
danger on our island and floods in Kentucky, point to the urgency of taking actions such as this.
However, please ask why hydrogen vehicles are included.
"Fuel cell electric vehicle" means a zero-emission electric vehicle that uses a fuel cell to
convert hydrogen gas and oxygen into electricity that is used in a vehicle powertrain for propulsion." top of p.

Puna Geothermal Venture has tentative plans to produce hydrogen, but large amounts of fossil fuel are
needed to drill wells, manufacture equipment,and maintain PGV.
