.:(0.:'"7,, <br /> , <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAII i= �',.' -,\Yi_* STATE OF HAWAII <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 526 22 <br /> RESOLUTION CREATING THREE (3) NEW FIRE <br /> COMMUNICATIONS OFFICER III (TEMPORARY) POSITIONS <br /> FOR THE HAWAII COUNTY FIRE DEPARTMENT <br /> WHEREAS, the Fire Department is in need of three (3) new Fire <br /> Communications Officer Ill (Temp) positions for training purposes; and <br /> WHEREAS, these Fire Communications Officer Ill (Temp) positions will <br /> be unfunded and utilized for temporary assignment; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Fire Communications Officer II personnel will be <br /> temporarily assigned to these positions to train new Fire Communications <br /> Officer I hires and conduct on-the-job training for all fire and emergency <br /> medical services communications methods and procedures; and <br /> WHEREAS, Article V, Section 5-1.3(c) of the Hawaii County Charter <br /> states that the Mayor has the power to "Create positions...for which <br /> appropriations have been made by the council..."; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII <br /> that three (3) Fire Communications Officer III (Temporary) positions be <br /> created in the Hawaii County Fire Department. <br />
