A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A DONATION OF ONE (1) MICROSOFT SURFACE PRO 6 WITH ACCESSORIES TO THE COUNTY OF HAWAIʻI DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE.
WHEREAS, Mr. Steven Hunt is donating one (1) Microsoft Surface Pro 6 with soft keyboard and cover to County of Hawai‘i Department of Finance; and
WHEREAS, this device, valued at approximately $400, will be utilized by the Department of Finance, Internal Control & TAT Division staff; and
WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaiʻi County Charter, provides that the council, on behalf of the county, may accept gifts of donations of money, securities, or other personal
property or of real estate or any interest in real estate; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Finance recommends the acceptance of this donation; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI‘I, in accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12 of the Hawaiʻi County Charter, the County of Hawaiʻi, accepts this donation.
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Clerk shall transmit a copy of this resolution to the Department of Finance and the Office of the Mayor.
