Slowing the rapidly advancing climate apocalypse requires, among other actions, a timely conversion to
transportation powered by renewable energy. The only currently readily available solution is battery electric vehicles,
but these are not practical without dependable access to charge stations. We have very few charge stations in Hawaii
County, and many of these are not reliably available due to poor maintenance, occupation of charging stalls by
vehicles that are not charging, etc. Bill 120 is essential to correct these deficits. Please pass this bill with all due haste.
