Aloha Councilmembers,
Please support Bill 120.
Changing from gas-powered cars to Electric Vehicles ( EVs) is the single most important step we can take for the climate
crisis. This is true for us as individuals and as an island.
A reliable, convenient network of chargers is the biggest obstacle to EV adoption here, and you can help solve it with this
Bill.
Those who live in apartments, or who rent, need such a network the most, thus it is an economic justice issue as well as
environmental one. Also if we hope to convert our rental fleets to EVs, this is needed for visitors.
Thank you for considering this Bill and the opportunity to testify.
