I drive an electric vehicle and it is totally ridiculous how challenging it is to access working EV charging stations
around our island. Over 70% of our energy usage on the island comes from fossil fuels, most of which is for the
transportation sector. We have an abundance of renewable energy. This is a classic chicken vs egg situation-get an
EV or wait for the infrastructure to happen...I recommend we put up the infrastructure and we will then see a boom in
EV's. and to support the infrastructure, lets get moving on developing geothermal. Energy independence is a major
step towards sustainability and resilience
